Immigration Watchdog

Hi Everyone!

I found an interesting post on this page about a pastor from Syracuse that was accused of making/selling fake green cards and social security cards. The post is about one year old. This Web site seems to have different threads pertaining to immigration concerns in the United States. I think that the post about the Syracuse pastor could be helpful because we could look at statistics and past reported instances where some religious or other officials helped illegal immigrants. We could try to dig up information about people in the Syracuse area as well as all across New York State.

I am sick of Illegal Immigrants Implying and Sometimes staying That somehow if you don't want them here then you must be a racist. I embrace all races and hold no hatred to any race.

I don't care what race or country someone is from. They could be Vietnamese , Irish , German, or Russian. I do not want them here If they did not follow the process of legal Immigration and are working toward becoming citizens.

If people born in Mexico think it is difficult Following the rules, they have no idea. My grandmother and grandfather immigrated here in 1952 with their 5 year old son and 12 month old daughter. At that time you had to have a job arraigned before you could even start the trip over to the United States. They came in a very small ship and there was a Storm with 12 foot waves. Only women with children of under a certain age were allowed living quarters. Yes the 5 year old boy I didn't get living quarters. The portal broke right over my mother's bed and very much salt water came in. I'm sure everyone knows how fragile a 12 months old child can be. Well, when they got to Ellis Island they had to be quarantined because my uncle contracted measles. They were supposed to pick oranges in California. When they were done with the quarantine their job was gone and there luggage and possessions were ready sent ahead and lost forever. They end about going to Wisconsin helping a farmer out and living in a renovated chicken hut. All they did is put used flooring over the chicken poop. It always smiled. No minimum wage.

And they were required to learn English for the whole process.
They work hard never got much from anyone and never took money from others and they certainly didn't talk about taking over the country. And didn't hate other people for what they had.
